Paris 99, the eponymous brand of designer Paris Starn, has made its mark through the reinterpretation of clothing and styles of the past; its unique designs, playfully bring vintage trends into the present.
Playing with the theme of Americana in away that still felt fresh and complemented the sensibilities of the collection, I took inspiration from quintessential American director Robert Altman and his 1977 drama film 3Women. Specifically, I was inspired by the soft color palette & the relationship between Millie & Pinkie, which is mirrored in the framing of the images and the choices in location.
Dovetailing with pre-exsiting content & fitting within the brand identity, assets were used prominently across social media and the website landing pages, as well as used on PDPs.
